  • Some larger motorboats or pontoon boats
  • Boats up to 18 feet in length

  • Cars, plus additional items
  • Motorcycles
  • ATVs

Household Contents:

12×30 Storage Unit

Boats:

  • Small to medium-sized boats on trailers
  • Ample length and width to accommodate boats on trailers
  • Additional space for trailer tongue and maneuvering
  • Examples include:
    • Many motorboats
    • Larger fishing boats
    • Pontoon boats
  • Measure entire length from tongue to back of propeller
  • Allow extra feet for clearance when backing into unit

RVs:

  • Many travel trailers and smaller RVs
  • Some smaller Class C motorhomes
  • Measure RV’s total length including accessories like spare tires or ladders
  • Ensure unit door height clears rooftop accessories like AC units

Important Considerations:

  • Door dimensions: Actual garage door might be around 10 feet wide (narrower than unit width)
  • Maneuvering space: Consider space available for backing boat or RV into unit
  • Height restrictions: Ensure ceiling height accommodates your boat or RV
  • Additional storage: Can hold contents of multiple-bedroom house along with boat or RV

Recommendations:

  • Always measure your boat or RV accurately, including trailer and accessories
  • Consult with storage facility directly to confirm exact dimensions
  • Consider opting for slightly larger unit for easier maneuvering and future upgrades

14×35 Storage Unit

RVs:

  • Most Class A motorhomes (26-45 feet length, 8-8.5 feet width)
  • 35-foot length accommodates many Class A motorhomes within length limit
  • Class C motorhomes and larger travel trailers will also fit

Boats:

  • 35-foot length accommodates various types and sizes
  • Especially suitable for boats on trailers

Important Notes:

  • Exterior vs. Interior Length: RV measurements are “bumper-to-bumper”
  • Specific Dimensions: Always measure your specific vehicle or vessel including trailer
  • Maneuvering Space: 14-foot width provides ample space on each side

14×40 Storage Unit

RVs:

  • Particularly well-suited for larger RVs
  • Class A motorhomes
  • Fifth-Wheel trailers
  • Especially suitable if unit has 14-foot door height

Boats:

  • Most boats, even with trailers
  • Pontoon or deck boats
  • Potentially both RV and boat if sized appropriately

14×50 Storage Unit

Large RVs:

  • Class A motorhomes (21-45 feet in length)
  • Requires at least 14 feet of clearance
  • Ideal for most Class A motorhomes
  • Potentially leaves room for additional storage or maneuvering

Large Boats:

  • Large boats exceeding 30 feet in length
  • Some yachts and larger pontoon boats
  • Suitable for Class 3 vessels up to 65 feet
  • Allows for workspace and storage of accessories

Combination of RV and Boat:

  • Smaller RV and boat combination possible
  • Example combinations:
    • Class C motorhome (20-33 feet) with smaller fishing boat
    • Class C motorhome with couple of jet skis
  • Carefully measure length, width, and height of both vehicles
  • Ensure comfortable fit with easy access within 14×50 space

Important Considerations:

  • Maneuverability: Ensure storage unit entrance and surrounding areas provide ample space for maneuvering both vehicles safely
